recruitment advice

The Structure of an Interview

The interview should follow eight steps:

  1. Introduction
  2. Candidate's Background
  3. Situational Questions
  4. Competency and Behavioral Questions
  5. Technical Questions
  6. Cultural Fit Questions
  7. Discussing Potential Roles
  8. Agreeing on Next Steps

The introduction and close are crucial, while the middle steps can be adjusted based on the conversation.
